The Live in 25 tour with co-headliners Whiskey Myers and Tedeschi Trucks Band began its East Coast run on Thursday at the Empower FCU Ampitheater in Syracuse.

Fans were not scared by the rain and enjoyed the Texas twang of Whiskey Myers and the Florida charm of Tedeschi Trucks Band despite the weather.

During the tour, each band took turns beginning and ending the show. On Thursday, Whiskey Myers came out swinging with their hit song “Gasoline.”

2023 song, “Frogman,” got the crowd out of their seats, before tears came with “Home” and “Broken Whiskey Serenade.”

Tedeschi Trucks Band took the stage with a promise to the mixed-age crowd to play both old songs and new, as well as some in between.

As the rain picked up, Tedeschi Trucks entertained the crowd from the start with their classic song “Signs, High Times” for the older crowd, followed by “Do I Look Worried.”

Their mix of electric guitars, vocalists, drums, and instruments like trumpets and trombones had Tedeschi Trucks Band getting fans out of their seats and dancing by the end of their first few songs.
