Juice Jam 2025 brings Coachella vibes to campus
From cowboy boots to chunky gold jewelry, here’s a breakdown of Pinterest-worthy fits spotted at Syracuse University’s music festival.

Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students showed up to SU’s 2025 Juice Jam serving looks that transformed the quad into a fashion playground. Denim, muted earth tones, leather details, flowy laced fits, cowboy boots and bold accessories made the festival feel less like a campus concert and more like a mini Coachella, where Pinterest boards came to life.
From eye-catching jewelry to boho chic, here’s how students described their standout fashion moments at Juice Jam 2025:

Chunky gold and statement jewelry
Accessories set the tone, with students elevating simple fits with striking details.
“I love chunky jewelry, chunky gold jewelry. That’s the thing and I’m so tempted to get more piercings,” said television, radio and film freshman Ellie Dablow.
“I was just going for a casual look, you know, we’re not doing too much out here, just elevate it with some of my accessories,” said Samantha Smith, a freshman advertising major.

Cowboy boots
Shoes can make or break a look, so it was no surprise that cowboy boots and knee-highs dominated the quad, pairing effortlessly with mini skirts and shorts.
“I just love the mini skirts with really high knee-high boots. I just think it’s so cute,” freshman Olivia Kobrosky said, who styled her outfit with the Coachella vibe in mind.
Smith is a big fan of the cowboy boots trend.
“You know, I’m from the South so I love to see it,” said Smith.
Assessing the vibe ahead of the event was important to picking her outfit, political science and broadcast digital journalism freshman Sheridan Lee said.
“I was thinking a little bit of jewels, shorts, it’s hot outside. Boots. My friend was saying boots are in. I totally agree,” Lee said.

Coachella energy
Others went for the free-spirited festival fashion, drawing inspiration from rave looks and boho chic.
Some students kept it simple with white and cream fits, while others played with shades of brown for that boho touch. The rave-inspired looks mixed denim with black leather or neutral tops, with bursts of bright orange, yellow, blue and pink.
No matter their vibe, plenty of students topped things off with a pair of perfectly matched sunglasses.
“I just look up like minimalistic streetwear [on Pinterest] and then I just go off of that,” said advertising freshman Hannah Wilson. “I like the Coachella type vibe, I like the rave type vibe. So, I think that’s really popping right now for concerts.”
“I really am into the boho chic, Coachella vibes. You can do any kind of mixture with that and put your own style into it. Everyone can make it their own,” said Sarah Khalid, a sophomore double-major in political science and finance.
Juice Jam 2025 showed that students don’t just show up for the music – they show up in style.
